”I want to give business owners the confidence of knowing their marketing and brand are in good hands.”
Staying confident means a lot of different things to many different people. What does it mean to you?
First, let’s go over the most common definition: ”confidence is a feeling of self-assurance arising from one’s appreciation of one’s own abilities or qualities.”
That seems like a fair assumption, right? It’s true, but couldn’t it come from an outside source like friends, family or even from strangers.
You can have total confidence, but when it comes from everywhere, it gets boosted in so many ways and you feel like your on top of the world. Here are just a few ways we might know about:
”A compliment, -Knowledge, -Body Posture, -Acknowledgment either by one’s self or someone else.”
“confidence means to have a bold persona that utilizes every characteristic to the best of their ability and to do it well.”
But it comes in different forms and is interpreted in many different ways.
I asked several people what staying confident meant to them and here is what they said:
Being confident is being confident in their own skin
I like this one, because if you can’t be confident with who you are, then how can it reflect off of you? People would look at you and debate whether or not to listen to what you have to say.
Here is another view of confidence on which she said:
”Believing in one’s self and putting your mind to whatever it is you want to accomplish to feel confident and you can do anything.”
”It means to have a bold persona that utilizes every characteristic to the best of their ability and to do it well.”
”It is not giving up no matter how scared you are. It means having that inner dialog with yourself, that it will be okay and to just go for it no matter what.”
To me, it means: ”believing in myself and my abilities that I have learned in my life and continue to learn.”
I have to believe in myself even if no one else does. Personally, I have struggled with confidence, but I do not let it stop me, but for me being and staying confident is a mindset.
I wake up thinking about all the good things that have happened and with those the struggles and hurdles I have overcome to be who I am today. Every time I think back to something I have overcome, it boosts my confidence level and self-esteem, leaving me feeling good.
So what it ultimately comes down too is this:
Staying confident means KEEP BELIEVING, KEEP STRIVING and KEEP MOVING FORWARD
Not everyone will believe in you, or believe in what you’re doing. People will say things to you that will make you question everything you do or think, don’t let them get to you. It doesn’t matter to anyone but YOU!
You can have doubts and you can question yourself, but always trust yourself and confidence will shine.
Your confidence will spread like a wildfire to those who look up to you. To those who you inspire to be the best, they can be.
